Torch Lake has a maximum depth of 320 feet and an average depth of 111 feet, making it Michigan's deepest inland lake. Torch Lake is located 17 miles North East of Traverse City.

Elk Lake is about a mile and a half wide and nine miles long, and is located near the town of Elk Rapids. It has a maximum depth of 192 ft, making it Michigan's second deepest after Torch Lake.

Atlantic Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout and Lake Trout Fishing

We usually fish in the deep water of Torch Lake and Elk Lake during most of the open water season. We catch a variety of high-quality fish, such as Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout.

Perch Fishing

We target Yellow Perch from Mid-September - October with traditional perch fishing rigs baited with shrimp, wigglers, and minnows.

Burbot Fishing

We specifically pursue Burbot on our exclusive excursion using jigging techniques immediately after the ice thaws, typically throughout the month of April. Burbot put up a fantastic fight and are a great eating fish!
